Acceptance For A Better Personal Life

Six points of acceptance —your mission, should you choose to accept it.

What is it about acceptance that really gets the ball rolling on the path to a happy life? Here are six points to consider.

1. Question yourself.

Do you have the wisdom to accept the things you can change and the things you can’t change? Do you welcome the numerous changes that occur in your life? Acceptance is truly a key, that must be on your universal keychain.

2. Be in command.

When you can accept things in life, including yourself and other people, you find a way to take charge. When you’re in command, it helps you to see how you are able to better your personal life. When you learn to accept you’ll learn to discover you.

3. Act like yourself.

Many individuals in the world believe that when we act the same way at all times, we have instituted our identity. We don’t want to be politically incorrect! We have emotions, thoughts, behaviors, actions, and have been overwhelmed by a world of influences both great and foul. Every day we will feel something new, which causes our personality to reflect these modifications.

4. Lead yourself.

We live in a world that desensitizes us. We’re surrounded by tens of thousands of influences on TV, in the media, on the radio, in homes, government, schools, etc. Each to their own, but everybody is judging somebody at some time, which is something we have to accept. We can’t alter these people’s behaviors and way of thinking, but we may change ours. Knowing what we have control over is a component of learning and accepting. The best way to navigate the pressures of the world is become the influencer of yourself and let the provocations of others’ go.

5. Catch more flies with sugar, than vinegar.

Once you learn to accept you’ll be eager to laugh. For example, if someone makes you crazy you’ll see the humor in the perosn’s actions. You might see the humor in your folly if you make an error and feed into their stupidity. Once you begin to see the humor in life, you’ll feel better inside. When you learn to change to better yourself, others might follow. Ethical conduct, expressed through positivity, has proven far more effective than words to promote others to alter their behaviors.

6. Grow further.

As you grow, you’ll feel a new hunger, and that desire will guide you to discover fresh ways to better yourself. In time as you begin to feel better, you will see a need to exercise, eat correctly, and hang out with positive influences and so on. Once you feel this urge, you’ll feel inspired to work to accomplish your goals. Begin when the fire is sparked, and remember, we can help you at any point on your path.

Your take away, next step…

What might you accept within your life, that you are currently dismissing? What can you change and what can’t you? Will you devote meditative contemplation on the ability to discern the difference? Good luck, and we are here when you need us.
